Abstract

Objective:

Neuropsychological characteristics of cognitive impairment in patients with Alzheimer's disease (Alzheimer's disease, AD).

Methods:

Patients with AD from January 2016 to December 2018 in our clinical big database of neurodegenerative diseases were selected as subjects. These patients were divided into 4 groups and a complete neuropsychology scale which used to assess their cognitive functions.

Results:

Among the 384 cases, there were 84 cases of AMCI, 130 cases of mild AD, 131 cases of moderate AD, and 39 cases of severe AD. In terms of overall cognitive function assessment, the MMSE scale shows the total score of MMSE (F=160.88, P=0.000), Time orientation (F=58.748, P=0.000), spatial orientation (F=93.327, P=0.000), instant memory (F=11.245, P=0.000), computing power (F=44.654, P=0.000), delayed recall (F=13.266, P=0.000), object naming (F=25.823, P=0.000), speech comprehension (F=9.680, P=0.000), speech expression (F=19.102, P=0.000), visual space ability ( F=15.885, P=0.000) have significant differences; There was no significant difference in language retelling (F=1.395, P=0.244). MoCA total score (F=152.260, P=0.000), visual space and executive function (F=37.644, P=0.000), drawing clock test (F=8.847, P=0.000), naming (F=22.085) in the MoCA scale, P=0.000), attention (F=39.832, P=0.000), calculation (F=48.680, P=0.000), language (F=27.003, P=0.000), abstract (F=12.045, P=0.000) There were significant differences in delayed recall (F=6.710, P=0.000) and orientation (F=19.500, P=0.000) (P<0.05). The application of the HAMD scale to assess the depression status of AD patients with different degrees showed that there were significant statistical differences between the groups (F=3.087, P=0.027); the HAMA scale had no statistical difference in the four groups of anxiety evaluation (F=2.023, P=0.110); The NPI scale has significant statistical differences in the evaluation of psychiatric symptoms (F=38.389, P=0.000).

Conclusion:

Cognitive impairment is common in patients with Alzheimerundefineds disease. situational memory is the core symptom of Alzheimerundefineds disease. with the aggravation of Alzheimerundefineds disease, cognitive comprehensive decline is carried out, a complete set of neuropsychological evaluation is carried out, delayed recall is the characteristic symptom, and attention loss is aggravated with the progress of the disease.
