Objective: To explore the effect of regulation intervention on anxiety and cognitive function of Alzheimer's patients. Methods: A total of 93 patients with Alzheimer's disease admitted to the Department of geriatrics and geriatric psychiatry in our hospital from January 2024 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into the control group (46 cases) and the observation group (47 cases). Both groups received brain health screening, the control group received conventional drug therapy combined with basic nursing intervention, and the observation group received acupoint regulation intervention on the basis of the control group. The effect was evaluated by self rating Anxiety Scale score, Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE) score, activity of daily living scale (ADL) score and clinical efficacy. Results: After 12 weeks of intervention, the self rating Anxiety Scale score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the MMSE score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (t=6.182, 3.798, P=0.000, 0.000); After 24 weeks of intervention, the improvement of each index in the observation group was better than that in the control group (P<0.05); The curative effect of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Brain health screening combined with acupoint regulation intervention can gradually improve the anxiety of patients with Alzheimer's disease, and continuously improve cognitive function and activities of daily living. The overall curative effect is good, which is worthy of clinical application.
