Research on Diagnosis Method for the Doubtful Parameter of Power Systems

Abstract

The quality of the power system state estimation and the practical level of advanced power application softwares would be reduced by the wrong parameter.It is very important to ensure the effectiveness of results of the state estimation when multi bad remote sensing data and parameter errors exist.A diagnosis method for the doubtful parameters of the power grid is proposed.The parameter errors and measurement errors are uniformly modeled in the information space.The measured percentage residuals are calculated according to the weighted least square method, and the suspicious measuring point set is obtained by comparison with the threshold.The relevant indexes of all suspicious measuring points and branches are calculated, then Newton Downhill Method is introduced to determine the optimal estimation of each suspicious parameter according to all suspicious branches, and the corrected parameters are regarded as the returned values.Simulation results show that the network parameter errors and measurement data errors can comprehensively be considered through the proposed method, which can also be applied to the situation where there exist multi error parameters simultaneously, and the accuracy of the parameter identification and diagnosis is effectively improved, and the quality of basic operating data and the practical level of advanced applications of the power grid are improved.
