At present, with the rapid development of information technology, the level of informationization of all walks of life is increasing. Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy in China, so its informationization construction is bound to affect the advancement of informationization of the whole society. In this article, according to the production process, more detailed analysis of agricultural informationization is proposed by divided into before production, intermediate production and post production informationization, which are also divided into three small parts each. We called this classification method the 3X3 architecture of agricultural informationization. Then the author gave a specific and multi-angle elaboration of the architecture and pointed out that the all three stages of agricultural informationization are interrelated, indivisible and mutual promotion. Dealing with those aspects of agricultural informationization well, and and the promotion of the process of agricultural informationization scientifically can make contribute to the realization of agricultural informationization in China. Finally, with the comprehensively promotion of the agricultural informationization, a new conception emerged just the time—the new agricultural. It is our goal to make this ‘new agricultural’ come true and we all have the duty to strive for it.
