Abstract

The authors carried out a case study on Changhe Basin of Jincheng City, analyzed the influencing factors of farmers’livelihood in loess hilly regions from the perspective of mining. Based on data of 621 questionnaires, the mlogit model was adopted for quantitative analysis of the influencing factors. The study concluded the limiting factors for the development of farmers’livelihood in the loess hilly region and pointed out the corresponding adjustment directions, including the local government’s efforts in promoting agricultural technology, providing training and employment guidance and exploring the characteristic industries according to local conditions, which provided references for the adjustment of agricultural policy in the new rural construction.
