Abstract

The purpose of this experiment was evaluated the feasibility of treating layer hens manure with the in-vessel composting system. There were three treatments, manure, manure + corn stock, and manure + sawdust. There were no change on organic matter, total nitrogen, and total phosphorus concentration. The pathogen had been destroyed within 5 days in three treatments, and all met the EPA standard.
