Abstract

A high regeneration frequency system of watermelon was set up by using the watermelon cultivated species- ZhongYuYiHao. Results indicated that MS+6-BA1.0+IBA0.5 was the most suitable medium for cotyledon and MS+6-BA1.0+IBA0.1 for stem apex;the strectched shoot rooted easily in MS+IAA0.2;low temperature and high humidity may be helpful for the survival of test-tube seedlings.
