Abstract

This paper studies the effect of 6-BA and SAR on preserving freshness pf cut rose and physiological and biochemical base . Compared with the contrast ( pure water ) 10mg/L 6-BA and 10mg/L 6-BA +0.3%SAR can improve the ability of preserving water of cut rose twigs and thus make them stiff and straight. Moreover 6-BA and SAR can delay the multiply of relative permeability of cell membrane , the degradation of protein and the production of MDA and thus lengthen the life span of cut twigs of cut rose in vase , every norm of whose is superior to the cut twigs is ordinary water .
