Abstract

The study on Yr genes’ chromosomal location of wheat and molecular marker were reviewed, and put the emphasis on progress in research on locus of Yr genes, mode of inheritance, cultivars contenting Yr genes and molecular markers. Some references to study and utilize Yr gene, the best way to control the stripe rust, were showed in this paper. 14 markers, linked with Yr5, Yr7, Yr8, Yr10, Yr17, Yr26 and Yrmoro, were obtained. The work of designation and study on new genes may be strengthened.
