Technological innovation plays more important role to the food security. However, there are many problems in the field of food technology of China. The target of future food technology development is to meet the long-term food demand even at the summit population period by the breakthrough at the key realms of food technology. Carrying out the national major technological program, increasing the investment to agricultural research and perfecting the food technology extensive system are urgent policy choices.
