Eighteen hundreds and twenty goats，which were transferred embryos，were diagnosed by ultrasonic scanning to define pregnant circumstances after 33~80d.The results showed that the accuracy of pregnancy diagnosis were 99.92%(1210/1211) and 99.39%(605/609) for pregnant goats and non-pregnant goats respectively. All of kids lambed by recipient, which were diagnosed repeatedly, were in good health and quick-growth. There was no any abnormal phenomenon in the kids. Thus it can be seen that the ultrasonic scanning is accurate, secure and easy to operate for early pregnancy diagnosis in goats and it can be used in practice widely.
