Analysis of SSR on Tow Multiple-marker Lines in Upland Cotton

Abstract

Polymorphism analysis of simple sequence repeats (SSR) was carried out for parents, T582 and T586, and their F1 plants. The result of SSR analysis showed that six out of fifty pairs of primers produced DNA polymorphism, which accounts 12 % of the total. The SSR bands were more co-domination loci than domination loci. SSR-motif with DNA polymorphism was related to primers of two ends designed.
