Abstract

Under different water and phosphorous conditions, the contents of MDA and activities of SOD and POD of soybean leaves were determined during two kinds of incubation. The results showed that MDA content increase and cell membranes damage of leaves. The SOD POD and CAT could decrease the MDA accumulation. Under drought stresses, phosphorous could not only keep lower MDA efficiently in soybean leaves, but also could increase the SOD POD and CAT activities.
