The Pathological Observation of Crested Ibis Die of Salmonellosis

Abstract

An acutely dead domesticated crested ibis were pathological checked systematically. The obvious lesion of liver, lung spleen and kidney were found of swell, hemorrhage and congestion; the oviduct uterine tube of hemorrhage, the structure of oviduct uterine tube were not intact and adhesion with vicinal tissues. The histological pathological changes were as follow: hepatic cell particulate degeneration, swell necrosis and inflammatory infiltration; hepatic sinusoid expendable, congestion widely; Renal tubule epithelial cell swell; degeneration and partial necrosis, exfoliated. Interstitial capillary expandable hyperemia and partly hemorrhage; pneumonia hemorrhage seriously, capillary expandable and hyperemia; intestine mucous membrane exfoliated, submucosa vein expandable and congestion, inflammatory infiltration. The microbiological diagnosis showed caused by salmonella.
