Kenyou2000,a new rice variety was obtained by crossing hybrid fromm key parental material jingyue 1 and two rice varieties with complementary character,vsing the pedigree method of breeding.Jingyue 1 was one of the first batch good-quality rice variety in our country .The kenyou2000 maintained not only good type of plant and high-yielding characters of rice varieties in our province,but also improved grain quality.It is suitable to be sown in the single-harvest rice growing areas.In the east and middle region of HeBei province.The key of high-yielding cultivation is sowing and trabsplanting earlier,regulating reasonable population size,in the meantime,fertilizer and irrgation water at the later stage should be adapt to population size.
