Genetic analysis for yield characters in yellow-seeded rapeseed lines (Brassica napus. L)

Abstract

A complete diallel analysis of seven yellow-seeded rapeseed lines which come from different sources by using the genetic model of additive-dominant-maternal was carried out. The results indicated that the additive effects and the dominant effects mainly controlled the yield characters. Environment effect has some influences on yield characters. While maternal effect has little influence on it. Genetic analysis showed that the additive effect, the dominant effect was significance at 0.01 level for yield per plant of y4, y3×y5 respectively.
