The inflorescence organization, the blooming habits and the spike characteristics of Yumai No.66 were studied in this paper. The results showed that Yumai No.66 had bigger anther and patulous angle of glume, longer flowering period and more kernels per spike, flowers per spike, extruded anthers and kernels of the middle spikelet than Yumai No.49 and Yumai No.18, so it is a good male parent in the study of hybrid wheat.
