Wheat aphids, Macrosiphum avenae, Schizaphis graminum, Rhopalosiphum pad and so on, are one of the most serious and economically damaging pests widespread throughout the world. Moreover, it has been reported wheat aphids have great capabilities in long-distance migration. The advances were introduced as follows, netting the aphids, the vectors of plant diseases, the test of computer monitored flight-mill system, etc. The source areas of immigrant aphids are estimated here. Ecological implications of the immigrant aphids and the relevant problems to be studied in future are discussed.
