Experimental study on root-zone oxygen environment in DFT for tomato cultured

Abstract

With the system of FCH culture, the experimental study of root-zone oxygen environment has been carried out. The relationship was studied, between oxygen content in nutrition solution with tomato growth condition and fruit nutrient quality. The result showed that with the improvement of FCH, tomato growth and yield had nothing to do with oxygen enrichment in nutrient solution or not. But the nutrient quality of tomato fruit had been affected a little. The oxygen enrichment did not change the content of solubility solid in fruit, but could reduce the content of nitrate nitrogen and the ratio of sugar/ acid.
