Crocus bulb rot is an important disease occurs on safflower during the storage. According to the scientific observation of researchers, the disease is severest during the period from the first ten days of May (when it harvested) to the end of July, and at the middle ten days of June it appears an obvious apex, and it stops in August. During many years trails, crops rotation, organic fertilizer promoting, storage humidity control and chemical treatment can evidently control the disease.
