Study on the Filling Rate of Different Maize Varieties in the Region of Loess Plateau Supplement Irrigation of Zhungeer

Abstract

In this paper, the four varieties of maize were used as material to research the filling rate in Zhungeer, which located on north of loess plateau. The result showed that the water contents of seed of Sidan 19 and Zhedan 7 were higher than that of Neidan402 and Neidan302, and the weights of seed of Sidan 19 and Zhedan 7 were lower than that of Neidan402 and Neidan302 after spinning. The highest rate of filling of Sidan 19 and Zhedan 7 were earlier than that of Neidan402 and Neidan302. Based on these reasons, the optional variety was selected to adapt to the regional climate.
