Through analyzing the incorrect ideas in the present land arrangement in southern hillside area, it have simple to pursue and increase the quantity of cultivated land generally, regular arrangement mode and premium planning and design, follow-up benefit are deviated from market economy, lack the mistaken idea that the industry supports. Combining the benefit goal of land arrangement in southern hillside area, according to its special traffic, geology, topography and cropping system, this paper has put forward that land arrangement should improve cultivated land quality, strengthen ecological environmental protection, improve following-up benefit and adjust measures to local conditions to carry on planning and design.
