Studies on Photosynthetic Characters of Soybean Pods and Blades

Abstract

Soybean varieties of DongNong 42 and DongNong 163 were used as materials in this experiment .The characters including contents of chlorophyll、amino acid、 carbohydrate、 photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate were analyzed in soybean blades and pods. The results showed that the content of total chlorophyll in soybean pods is 1~2 percent of content of total chlorophyll in soybean blades. Photosynthetic rate is positively correlated with content of chlorophyll in soybean pods. The contents of reducsugar and starch in pods are higher than those in blades. But the contents of protein and amino acid in pods are lower than those in blades. The characters of protein, reducsugar, stomatal conductance, photosynthetic rate and transpiration rate show differences between different varieties.
