Advances of Research on Rice Leaf Senescence Physiology

Abstract

Advances of studying rice leaf senescence physiology were reviewed in detail for the past 20 years, including the physiological mechanism of rice leaf senescence, the normal indexes of leaf senescence and its dynamic changes during the leaf aging, and some research results of regulating leaf senescence in rice. At the same time, some key aspects in the future were discussed briefly in this research field.
