The experiment was conducted to determine the supplement of microbiological preparation (Photosynthetic bacteria, Bacillus sp. or Photosynthetic bacteria + Bacillus sp.) on pH, ammonia-N, nitrate-N, chemical oxygen demand and metamorphosis rate in factory breeding of Chinese mitten crab Eriocheir sinensis. The results showed that the supplement of microbiological preparation had no obvious effect on pH, but with the development of larvae, the ammonia-N, nitrate-N or chemical oxygen demand was significantly decreased and metamorphosis rate was significantly increased by the supplement of microbiological preparation.
