To study the expression and changes of NGF in nucleus rotundus of laying hens. The expression of NGF was examined by immunocytochemistry and image analysis. The Results showed that NGF immuneoreactive cells appeared in nucleus rotundus of 120d group, after this time the expression of NGF was increased remarkably and reached the peak at the day of 240,and then decreased gradually. The results suggest that there are some correlation between the expression of NGF with light stimulation and reproduction.
