Heilongjiang province lies in cold region the chilling injure of rice is occur often. This article introduced the befall process of sterile-type chilling injure, characteristics, mechanism and the irrigation technique to decrease the chilling injure, especially about the effect of deep irrigation technique. It showed that should irritate the layer of water of above 17cm in rice boot stage, when run into low temperature cold to suffer from, it named rice being cold to hurt sensitive issue, and irrigation with 10cm of water that can play a role in protecting too. The result will be better if we combine the two kinds of methods.
