The interactive effect of enhanced UV-B radiation and acid rain on seed germination and seedling growth of Spinch are investigated. The results showed that the interactive effect of enhanced UV-B radiation and acid rain resulted in reduction of height, leaf number, leaf area and dry weight. At the same time, the content of chlorophyll and transpiration in leaf were decreased. The decreasing degrees of seed germination and seedling growth under combined stress were significantly higher than under single stress, and the decreasing degrees were influenced by the dose of UV-B and pH of acid rain. The effect of enhanced UV-B radiation were cooperated with acid rain on seed germination and seedling growth of Spinch.
