Effects of Salicylic acid and CaCl2 on photosynthesis and chlorophyllfluorescence of Citrus under heat and drought stress

Abstract

Photosynthetic rate of Citrus leaves treated with salicylic acid(SA) , CaCl2 and SA+ CaCl2 decreased less than those with water under heat and drought stress, but effect of SA+ CaCl2 was better than SA or CaCl2 alone. These three treatments increased Photosynthetic rate of Citrus leaves through protecting photosynthetic organes, moreover, SA and CaCl2 have cooperative effect each other.
