Disinfection of recirculation nutrient solution from soilless culture with physical methods

Abstract

Physical methods of disinfection of nutrient solution from soilless culture systems are summarized, including the use of ozonization, ultraviolet radiation, heat treatments, filtration, iodination, activated hydrogen peroxide and others. Ozonization, ultraviolet radiation and heat treatments are feasible by now. Further development in disinfection of nutrient solution is also put forward.
